世界報道写真展に行ってきました。

オランダに本部をもつ世界報道写真財団が主催の写真コンテストで、
125カ国から集まった80536点の写真のうち、
入賞した200点を紹介しています。

有名なのが下の写真。
コンゴで殺されたマウンテンゴリラの死体を運ぶ写真。

コンゴの国立公園で多数のマウンテンゴリラが殺されていたらしい。
ルワンダでツチ族を虐殺したグループの
残党の仕業ではないかと考えられている。

ショッキングな写真が多いけれども、
世界を知るという意味でいろんな人に見て欲しいと思います。

ただ、思いのほか規模が小さく、1時間半くらいで見終わってしまいました。

そんなわけで、
友人の勧めもあり隣でやっていた今森光彦の昆虫写真展へ。
むしろ彼はこっちがメインだったらしいのだが・・・

こっちの写真展はさっきと打って変って明るい雰囲気。
報道写真は喋ってはいけない雰囲気でしたが、
こちらは子供たちがはしゃぎ回っておりますｗ

マレーシアやインドネシアの珍しい昆虫の写真から、
日本の身近な虫たちの写真までいろいろな写真を見ることができました。

うん、
接写で虫の顔をよーく見てみると意外とかわいい顔をしているんだね(・_・；)
こんな昆虫たちがうごめく熱帯雨林にいってみたいものです。

いろんな意味で刺激となる一日でした。

The preparation for Going to USA ①

Today,
I was able to take holidays from my job.
And I went to a Bank to transfer money.

The other day,
I opened a new account at CITI BANK.

Do you know Citi bank???
Citi bank is a major bank in america.
Actually,
a lot of american and overseas student from japan use this bank.

I took ￥500,000 worth of cash out of the japanese bank
and transfer to Citibank.

Then i had to go to Citibank with ￥500,000 in my hands !!!
For me, it's so fearful...(;^_^A

To tell the truth,
I'm unfamiliar with foreign exchange and system of banks.
So,
I have trouble exchanging yen to dollars.

ボスニア紛争戦犯を拘束

BBC reported that
One of Bosnian Serb war criminals, Radovan Karadzic was arrested
on Monday near Belgrade.
Surprisingly,
He had been escaping for more than 10 years.

He is indicted by the UN tribunal for war crimes and genocide
over the 1995 massacre at Srebrenica.

According to recent research,
About one houndred thousand people were killed by Bosnian Serb war,

This is Mr.Karadzic before escape

This was Mr.Karadzic when he was arrested....!?

Wow, it's big change.
I can't believe both men in phtos is same person.

バシル大統領へ逮捕状を請求

The International Criminal Court (ICC) accused Mr. Omar al-Bashir at last.

He is a Sudanese President
and charged with crimes against humanity .
I think it's too late.
Because some 300,000 people have died
as a result of the conflict in Darfur since 2003.
But This is a big step to stop genicide in Sudan.

It seems that
United Nations chief Ban Ki-moon has urged Sudan
to co-operate with the UN.

However,
It's unlikely that President Bashir is handed over to the ICC.

金峰山　その2

　2008-07-08

さて、三時間ほど歩くと、頂上はすぐそこに！
深い森が突然ひらけ、ハイマツ帯へ。

うむ、山頂近し。がんばれ、がんばれ。

そして登頂！いえーい。
100名山をまた1つ制覇。
2598ｍです。
奥に見える大きな岩は五丈岩というらしい。

このあたりでおにぎりを出して、ランチタイム。
涼しくて最高に気持ちいい！

と思いきや、ものすごい量のハエの群れが・・・
逃げ惑います。

でも、眺めは最高です。
晴れていれば、富士山も見えるはず！
目を細めれば・・・

見えませんね。。

山の尾根道が美しいです。

帰りは、花かげの湯という近くの温泉によって、
体を休めてから帰りました。
I'm happｙ～.

往復5時間ちょっとの手軽な山にしては、
とっても綺麗で雄大です。
お勧めです。

ただし、ハエだけは注意。
ポカリとおにぎりに、まとわりつきますからｗ

金峰山　その１

I went on a climb with my friends.
The mountain i climbed is Mt.Kinpu(Kinpou)
Mt. Kinpu, at a height of 2898 meters, is straddling the Nagano-Yamanashi prefectural border.

It took about 2.5 hours by the car
to get to the starting point for a climb from my home.
On the way for the starting point,
we saw a wild deer!!!

Wow. Lucky !

And i have enjoyed fine weather.

Yea. Nice day.
Let's start to climb～.

But we took the wrong path from the very beginning.
(-。－；)

i walked through mossy trees.
It's very fantasic and beautiful frest.

After walking for 3 hours,
I got to the top of a mountain.

旧ソビエトのアニメ　チェブラーシカ

It was a big surprise.
Russian animation ,Cheburashka(Чебурашка) will been screened from July 19th at Japan.
It seems that Ghibli helped showing.
Do you know about Cheburashka???
Let me introduce this animation.

Cheburashka is a pretty and unidentified little animal
who lives in the tropical forest.

He accidentally gets into a crate of oranges,
and arrived at one town.
But he is unidentified animal,
so he can't live in a zoo.
Unwillingly he started to live in a phone booth at the town.

This animation was made during the Soviet era.
I have poor impression against Soviet.
However this is so great and pretty animation.
I'm lovin' it !

I reccomend you to see this Russian animation.

国境を越えるには・・・

なんといっても、PASSPORTは欠かせません。
当たり前ですが。

というわけで、PASSPORTの更新に立川のパスポートセンターへ。
平日にもかかわらず、混雑しております。
新規でなくて更新するだけなのに、
結構なお金がかかりました。
一万ちょっとかな。

5年か10年、どっちにしようか悩んだけど結局5年にしました。

しかし、
写真撮ったり、全部終わるまで1時間以上かかるとは。
面倒くさいね。
7月8日にできるらしいので、また行かなきゃ。

あ、航空券、Hotel無事とれました。
8月22日から一週間くらい飛んじゃいますｗ
石油高騰が響いて、予想以上に高くなっちゃいましたけど。

そういえば、ガソリン180円だってね。。
酷い・・・(w＿－；ｳｩ･･
どうしてこんな事になってるのか、よくわかりません。
経済学を勉強したいです。
イランやなんかが、
石油を増産すれば解決する問題でもないようですし。

夏に、車での移動はなかなか酷なことになりそうです。
