May 14th is Israel's National Foundation Day.
On this day in 1948,
The first Prime Minister of Israel, David Ben-Gurion announced
the establishment of the State of Israel.

So... 60 years has passed since the founding of the nation.

You know,
arm conflicts have continued since then.

When the nation of Israel was founded,
all neighboring country consider Israel enemy country
and attacked it.
So Some people believed Israel collapsed soon.

Sometimes
I wonder the foundation of Israel is right.
Because Palestine is too small to be lived by Jews and Palestinian.
And I think it would be accurate to say that
Israel is founded
by USA and Europe which dislike rule of Middle East by Isramic Arabs.

Actually,
Israel had been founded through the help of the West.
So what we should now is how to keep peace in Middle East.

今日は一日ＯＦＦでした。
先週は毎日バイトだったから、今日の休みは貴重でしたよ。

さて、午後は雨もやんだので、
中国語の参考書を探しに、久しぶりに吉祥寺へ。
地元にはろくな本屋がないので・・・(-_-;

英語と違って、中国語の参考書ってあんまり種類が多くないみたいで、
いい本探すのにも一苦労です。

帰りは、ハーモニカ横丁を通ってみましたが、
イイ雰囲気です。
なんとなく台湾の千ｲ分（チウフェン）に似てるとおもいました。

さて、今日のニュース。
中国四川大地震の死者が4万人を超えたそうです。
そして行方不明者がなんと約3万人！
中央政府には迅速な救助が求められますね。

日本からの救援隊が十分活躍できないまま
撤退を余儀なくされたのは残念です。
でも、新華社通信は日本の救援をかなり好意的に報道したようで、
中日関係という点では一役買ったのでしょうか。

ある人たちが、
中国の建物はちゃちで、もろいから簡単に崩れるのだ。
中国は表側だけ繕って、偽りの国だって非難してましたが、
随分と飛躍した批判な気がします。
耐震構造が十分でない建物が多いというのは、
まぁそうなのかなって思いますが、
中国の国土の広さや、
今回の震源地が少数民族の多く住む地域であったことを考えると、
中央の耐震に関する管理が行き届いてなくても無理はないかな、
という気もします。

日本も随分最近、偽装建築が問題になっていましたから、
あんまり非難できる立場ではありませんね。

なんにせよ、
中国中央政府はメンツを保つことに気をとらわれず、
被害者救援に力を入れて欲しいと思います。

アジアで相次ぐ災害

Yesterday,
south-western China was hit by a strong earthquake
Surprisingly,
The death toll is now more than 12,000,
officials say, and looks set to rise...
And moreover, a lot of people are said to be buried under the rubble
I wonder this earthquake affect the Beijing Olympic.

That reminds me,
Recentry,
the cyclone hit Burma(Myanmar).
You know, about a hundred thousand people died because of this cyclone.
That's too bad.
On Monday,
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expressed his "immense frustration"
and blamed Burma's government for slow response.

I feel a lot of disaster strikes in Asia.
Actually,
We have to remember that this can happen to us too.
we might be next...

メドベージェフ新大統領　軍事パレードは壮大に･･･

Mr Medvedev has taken up a post as Russian new president,
becoming Russia's third leader since the collapse of the Soviet Union.
I'm interested in the movement of Russia led by Mr Medvedev.
Is he really just marionette of Putin?
We never know now.

Japanes media tend to cast a critical eye against Russia and Putin.
But i guess
Putin should be valued for his political ability,
Cos' Putin achieved a dramatic recovery in the economic situation.

And also
I think Mr Medvedev is more liberal than former president Putin.
At a inauguration ceremony in the Kremlin,
Mr Medvedev said
"Human rights and freedoms...
are deemed of the highest value for our society,"

And today,
Grand military parade was staged at Moscow.
it is first time since the collapse of the Soviet Union.
