スペイン　独裁の記憶 

風邪をひいてしまい、今日は一日寝込んでしまいました。
いまの時期、寒暖の差が大きいからね。
みなさん、体には気をつけましょう。

さて、
パンズ･ラビリンスという映画をみました。
簡単に、紹介すると・・・
舞台は1944年内戦終結後のスペイン。
内戦により、父親をなくした少女オリフェアは、
母の再婚により冷酷なビダル大尉のもとにいくことになった。
馴染めない新しい父親と、
母親の思わしくない体調に苦しむオリフェアの前に、
一匹の妖精が現れる。
その妖精に導かれるままに森の中に入っていくと、
ヤギの頭をした牧神パンが現れる。
オリフェアは魔法の国の王女であり、
3つの試練を乗り越えることで魔法の国に帰れるというのだ。
そして、3つの試練を与えられるオリフィアだったが・・・

フランコ独裁政権下に生きる少女の
不安が作り出したもう1つの幻想世界が
すごい完成度で仕上がっています。
現実と幻想の交差した表現がすばらしい。

ファンタジーというカテゴリーに置かれているけど、
ファンタジーと思ってみるとびっくりするかも。
痛いし怖いし。
かなり見てる側の不安を掻き立てる演出になっています。

まぁ、個人的には好きだったけど、
人によっては、最悪って言う人もいるんだろうなって思います。
ただ、この映画は、一部の人に批判されているように、
安っぽい反ファシズムや共産賛美の映画ではなく、
単純に、苦しい時代を生きる少女の純粋さを表現した
あえて言うならば、マッチ売りの少女のような映画です。
こんなにかわいかないですが・・・

Pan's labyrinth


独裁者フランコが率いるファシズム･スペインは、
第二次大戦中は中立の立場だったこと、
また戦後の反共産主義的立場ゆえに、
フランコ将軍が死去するまで独裁政治が続いたようです。
それで、いまでもスペイン国内では、
フランコ独裁政権に対する評価が割れてるみたいです。

ソマリアの悪夢　 

In somalia,
It seems that the situation are becoming worse and worse.

Forty humanitarian agencies say
20,000 people continue to flee violence in capital,Mogadishu.
And the agencies say
two million Somalis need daily help
to survive the crisis caused by continued fighting
between insurgents and the interim government.

Somalia has been in a chaotic condition for about 20 years.
The interim government is supported by America and Ethiopia,
The rebel group comprised Isramist,
so this group is supported by the Arabs.

One the UN refugee agency has said
"In terms of child malnutrition, access to education,
lack of access to clean water and sanitation facilities,
indeed the situation in Somalia is the worst in the world... ″

I wish internatinal society and japan paid attention to situation in somalia.

星の王子さまとバオバブの木 

One of my favorite books is The Little Prince
which was written by Sant-Exupery.

Unique tree appear in this book.
It's Baobab.
Baobab trees grow naturally
in Africa, Madagascar and northwestern Australia.
Baobab is so tough as steel.
It seems that they often live for many centuries.

I want to travel Madagascar to see this tree.

Finally, I introduce some inspirational passage in The Little Prince.

Now here is my secret, very simply.
You can only see things clearly with your heart.
What is essential is invisible to the eye.
『さっきの秘密をいおうかね。なに、簡単なことさ。
心でなくちゃ、物事はよく見えないってことさ。
かんじんな事は、目には見えないんだよ。』

The Olympic torch has been lit at a ceremony in Greece.
Well...
I heard that
Members of Docter without Border interrupt and protest
against the violence in Tibet at a ceremony.
It seems that One member ran up on the stage
attempting to display a black flag
depicting the Olympic rings made from handcuffs.

Umm...
I wonder Olympics can be held in Beijing without incident.

米国における自殺の増加 

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention says
『Although most gun owners reportrfly keep a firearm
in their home for "protection″or "self defense″
83% of gun-related deaths in these homes are the result of a suicide,
often by someone other than the gun owner.』

Recentry,
in USA,the suicide rate among youth has increase drastically.
It seems that suicide is the thid cause of death
among young people between the ages of 15 and 25.

In Japan,
depression and suicide is big social problem.
Numer of suicides has been more 30 thousand
for the 12th straight year.

We might need mental health care.
Because we live stressful world...

I want to relax an d appreciate life.

秘境ブータンの民主化 

Do you know Bhutan
The Kingdom of Bhutan lies in the Himalaya Mountains,
sandwiched between India and China.

I guess
Bhutan is one of the most isolated and mysterious country.
In 1999,
TV broadcasts and Internet were launched first
by the Bhutanese government.
And Bhutan government performe conservation of Bhutanese cluture diligently.
Foreign influences and tourism are heavily regulated by the government.

Government impose high sightseeing tax on tourist.
So It's difficult for backpacker to travel in Bhutan.

Now,Bhutan is ruled by absolute monarchy.
But Bhutan will shift to democratic government this year,

今日は、卒業式でした。
いや、学生生活長かった・・・
あの吐き気を催すほど重苦しい研究室を
二度と見なくてすむと思うと、うれしいような悲しいような。
警戒心が強いのか、人とやや距離をおきたがる自分ですが、
いい友達に恵まれました。
クラスのみんなに感謝！

まぁ、これで１段落ついたわけだけれども、
今年一年、やるべきことはたくさんある。
�〆�の貯金とこれから貯めるお金、全部あわせて200万貯金
��英語と中国語のお勉強。
�Ｅ亙討僚猗�。

来年４月にアメリカへ帰国の予定です。
・・・あえて帰国、といってみたｗ
実際生まれてからアメリカにいたのは数ヶ月だし、
その後も、何度かアメリカに遊びに言ってるとはいえ、
英語はほとんどしゃべれない。
それでも、二重国籍者になれたのは幸運だったな。
ビザがどうのとか、そういう心配をしなくてすんだ。

でも、
アメリカが大好きかというと、そうでもない。
むしろ、アメリカ出国後４歳までいた
中国(香港)のほうが親近感がある。
今の中国の政治体制とか、
チベット問題を見ていると嫌気がさすのは事実だけども、
中華文化とか中国語の発音とか、なぜか安心するのです。

だから、英語と同時に中国語もしゃべれるようになって、
将来はアジアで働きたいな。

さて、北京オリンピックが控えている中国。
チベットと中国はどうなるか！
ひそかに五輪後数年以内に、
ソビエトみたく中国は民主化or崩壊すると、
予期しているんですが・・・

BBC reported that
At least 80 people have been killed in confusion in Tibet.

Recentry,
the demonstration by Tibetan raged in Lhasa.
In India,
Police have detained more than 100 Tibetan refugees.
Cos' they were trying to hold a demo against China.

What is Tibet?
Tibet has unique culture which differ from China.


China invatded Tibet into its territory in 1949
against Tibetan wishes for independence.
Since 1951, Tibet has been under China's control.
Now,Tibet was supposed to be a highly autonomous area of China.
However,
Chinese government has violated human rights in Tibet since 1951.
So Tibetan often resist control of chinese goernment.

I criticize chinese government for the approach against Tibetan demo.
It's clear that this is overkill.

陣馬山〜高尾山 曇り時々晴れ 

Today,
I went hiking with my friend.
I walked from Mt.Jinba to Mt.Takao.
It is 20km hike.

The weather forecast said it would be fine today.
But it was not fine this morning...

I got to the top of mountain around 11:30.
It was cloudy at the top of Mt.Jinba.
you can't see anything ｢(´へ｀; Umm...

I feel it's small...


After that, It was starting to clear up gradually.

On the way to Mt.Takao,
i found pretty dolls of raccon dog.

It took about 6 hour to complete this course.
My legs felt leaden after the hike....
But I enjoyed very much.


諸国民の中の正義の人 

There're a lot of Hero in the histry.

Oskar Schindler is well known
as German industrialist credited with saving almost 1,200 Jews
during the Holocaust.

And also,
Chiune Sugihara is famous in Japan.
He was a Japanese diplomat who helped about 6000 Jews
by giving Jews viza to enter Japan.

I guess
they are really righteous person.

Recentry,
I found Paul Grüninger in a book, Black Switerland.
he provided visa to about 3,600 Jewish refugees
from the Nazis in Austria,
permitting them to enter Switzerland.
In those days,
Switzerland government had refused entry
to Switerland against Jews,
Because they are afraid of economic disorder for influx of Jews.

It makes me glad to know being people
who preserved justice during the war.

The World wothout End 

暗いニュースがつづいたので、ちょっと明るい話題を。

自分は旅行が好きで、
まだそんなにたくさんの国を回ったわけではないけど、
世界中を旅したいと思う。
いろんな国の自然遺産とか調べてて思うのは、
世界には、ありえないくらい美しい場所があるんだなってこと。

ちょっと紹介。

これは、言わずと知れたスイスのマッターホルン。

ほんとに、こんな場所があるんだろうかと、
疑いたくなるほどきれいだ。
ありえない、No way! No way!です。

ヨーロッパだけじゃなく、アジアにだって・・・

中国　武陵源


中国　武陵源という場所。
２００ｍにも及ぶ石英の柱が無数に立ち並ぶ、中国の誇る世界遺産。
アジア特有のミステリアスな雰囲気が漂ってますねｗ
是非、行ってみたい。

つづいて南の島、パラオでは・・・

パラオ　ロックアイランド

ロックアイランドと呼ばれ、５００以上の島から成っている。
そのほとんどが無人島らしい。
海の透明度がありえませんΣ(ﾟﾛﾟ｣)｣

外国の自然遺産を取り上げたけど、
やっぱり日本国内にも美しいところはたくさんあると思います。

長い学校生活の間の疲れをとるという意味でも、
旅行に行きたい。どこか、遠くへ。
旅は心のセラピーです。
自分の想像を絶するところがたくさんあるみたいです。
日本も含め、世界中を旅するまでは絶対死ねない。

もちろん、
世界には紛争と混乱に巻き込まれている人たちがいること、
世界の明るい面と暗い面の両方が
あることを忘れないようにしなきゃいけませんが・・・

イスラエル　ガザ地区の状況 

UK-based human rights groups, including Amnesty International says
Gaza's humanitarian situation is the worst
since 1967 when Israel occupied it.

Israel attacked Gaza continuously
to try to suppress rocket fire by Hamas government.
Israel says
these military action and other measures were lawful
and needed to stop rocket attacks from Gaza.

After that,
Israel withdrew from Gaza,
Cos' Israel recognize to accomplish a purpose at Gaza.

But now,
Gaza is imposed blockade from Israel,
So a lot of Gazan are troubled with food shortages.
More than 1.1 million Gazans are dependent on food aid
and 75,000 have lost their jobs.

最悪の独裁者　スターリン編 

１８７９年１２月、
現在のグルジアで靴職人の子として生まれ、
後に「赤いツァーリ(皇帝)｣、「地上の神」とまで評された男、スターリン。

独裁者と聞いて、すぐにヒトラーを思い浮かべる人は多いだろう。
しかし、スターリンの残忍さはヒトラーを上回るともいえる。

スターリンとは「鋼鉄の男」という意味。
１９２２年、共産党中央委員会書記長に就任。
１９２４年のロシア革命の最高指導者ウラジミール･レーニンの死後、
ライバルを次々に追い出し、権力集中の基盤をつくっていく。

１９２９年、農業集団化政策以降、スターリンによる大静粛がはじまる。
ヒトラーが牙を向けたのはゲルマン民族以外の他人種だったが、
スターリンの静粛は、自国民に向けられた。

富農撲滅を掲げて始まった政策だったが、
後に、反政府的な疑いをかけられた人を次々に殺害していく。
また、旧ソ連ウクライナ地域では、
集団農業化の失敗と干ばつが重なり、大規模の飢餓が発生。
７００万人以上が餓死したといわれている。
しかし、この飢餓はスターリンによって
人工的に引き起こされた飢餓であるとの見方が強い。

軍指揮官などにも静粛の牙がむかれ、
ドイツとの開戦当時、ソビエトには
ほとんど有能な指揮官がいなくなってしまうほどだった。

これを聞いたヒトラーはこう記している。
「スターリンは多分、気が狂ったのだ。そうでなければ、大静粛など説明がつかない。
いつか、我々はこの危険を根絶せねばならん。」

スターリンは親族にも容赦がなかった。
義兄弟や妻を実際に処刑し、
実の息子がドイツ軍の捕虜になったときも、
ドイツからの捕虜交換をつっぱねている。

「捕虜になった将兵は祖国の裏切り者とみなし、
その家族は逮捕し、国家の保護と援助を停止する。
脱走者や投降者は見つけしだい、その場で銃殺せよ。」

スターリングラードでのドイツとの戦いでは、
最前線のすぐうしろに戦車部隊を配置し、
攻撃にひるんで後退する自国の兵を次々に銃殺し、
およそ１万３千人が自軍によって殺されたことがわかっている。


１９５３年３月５日、ちょうど５５年前の今日。
スターリン、モスクワ郊外の別荘にて死去。
スターリンの大静粛により殺害された人の数は２０００万以上といわれる。

スターリンによる暴政は、
１９５６年、共産党大会でスターリンの後継者フルシチョフにより、
スターリン批判が行われ、明らかにされた。

しかし、
スターリンによる暴政が本当に世界に知らされるには、
ゴルバチョフ大統領による
グラスノスチ（情報公開）まで待たなければならなかった。

「彼はあまりにも粗暴だ。
スターリンを党書記長から他に移し、
より優れ、忠実で、思いやりのある人物を任命するよう考えるべきだ。」

ロシア　メドベージェフ大統領へ 

Mr. Dmitry Medvedev has won an outright victory
in Sunday's presidential election.

And BBC reported that
Dmitry Medvedev has vowed
to continue the course of predecessor Vladimir Putin
after winning a landslide victory in the election.

Well...
I don't think it's at all surprising that
he won the election.
It's so predicable consequence.
Yes. No wonder.

Because He have an approval rating close to 70 %
before the election.

However,
I have an interest in his way as Russian President.
Some media said Mr Medvedev simply act just Marionette for Putin.
Just maybe...
He might surprise Putin.
