他にもスネークファームや動物園など、
バンコク市内で訪れた場所は幾つもあるがここでは省略。
旅のまとめにはいる。

今回は、かなりの貧乏旅行であったため、
お金には苦労した。
でも、あえて交通機関を使わずに
徒歩で移動中に思わぬ発見をすることもあって楽しかった。

たとえば、ミズオオトカゲ！
あんな大きなトカゲがバンコク市内の川辺を闊歩しているとは露知らず、
かなりびっくりした。
成長すると2.5ｍにもなるそうだが、
自分が見たのはそこまで大きな個体ではなく1.5ｍ程度の子供だった。
通常のトカゲも、日本のものよりだいぶ大きいし、
リスなんかも見た(まぁリスならＮＹにもいるが･･･)

タイの治安について言えば、
東南アジア内では比較的落ち着いているものの、
殺人等の凶悪犯罪の発生率は日本の15倍だという。
それでも個人的には命の危険を感じることは一度もなかったし、
特に危険な国だとは全く思わない。

気になるのは、タイの風俗産業である。
自身、刺青をした白人とタイ人女性という不自然な組み合わせは何度も見た。
また、多くの日本人観光客が売春目的でタイに訪れているというのは
悲しく、恥ずかしいことである。
アジアを旅するにあたり、
風俗産業と人身売買という闇も見過ごすわけにはいかない。

単純なリフレッシュ気分で訪れたタイだが、
いろいろ勉強になることが多かった。
タイの周辺諸国にも興味が湧いてきた。

本当に旅にはきりがない。

タイ旅行記　王宮編

駅から随分歩いて、ようやく王宮へ。
30度を越す炎天下のなか、2ｋｍ近い距離を歩くので相当骨が折れた。
よほどのことがないかぎり、こんなことはお勧めはしない。

王宮周辺は、観光客狙いの詐欺師が多い。
王宮やワットポーに向かう途中、｢No! No!｣と何度も声をかけられた。
まだ王宮は開いていない、どこか他のところへ一緒に行こうというのだ。
こんな手口も、｢地球の歩き方｣でもじっくり読めばどこかに書いてあったりして、
なんとなく間抜けな気もする。


王宮とはいえ、実際には、プミポン国王はここにはいない。
王宮からやや離れたチットラダー宮殿、
もしくは王朝リゾート、ホアヒンで一年の大半を過ごすという。

とはいえ、軍はしっかり王宮を護衛しているし、
ハーフパンツやノースリーブのような
露出度の高い服では王宮に入ることはできない。
タイ国民は国王に絶対の敬意を払っているのだ。



現在のチャクリ王朝(バンコク王朝)が始まって200年以上。
現プミポン国王で9代目となる。
すでに歴代チャクリ王でも最長の即位期間となるが、
いまだに国民からの圧倒的支持を得ているという。

On the way to the Grand Palace,
I decided to stop at Wat Pho.


Wat Pho is the one of the largest and oldest temple in Bangkok.
In this temple,
there is Gold Reclining Buddha.

there are many small design on the sole of the foot of this Buddha.
And you can see monks.
They sometimes chant a Buddhist sutra.

In the Thailand,monks are respected by others.
So you have to give up your seat to monks,
if you see monks in the trains.




By the way,
Admission fee is required to enter the temple.
Admission is B50 (about 150 yen)

タイ旅行記　バンコク市内編

One of the most popular tourist attraction in Bangkok is Grand Palace.
I went to there.
Usually,
Tourists use taxi from Hua Lamphong Station.
But I walked to Grand Palace from the station
for saving money.
There is a China town between Grand Place and the station.
So I went through China town.
This is the entrance of china town.


The market in China town is very lively.
I should walk in narrow street.



A lot of goods such as food, convenience goods are sold in china town.

バンコクにて非常事態宣言

Today, in the capital Bangkok
Thailand's Prime Minister has declared a state of emergency
Surprisingly,
One person were killed in the riot.
BBC NEWS reported
"Dozens more were hurt
in the worst violence seen in Bangkok for 16 years. ″
バンコクにおいて、過去16年間では最悪の暴動により、12人以上が死傷した。
I don't know the detailed reason of this riot.
That was really close for me.
Anyway I feel worry for my friends in the Thailand.


Well...
I explain my travel.
I went to Floating Market in Thailand.
The Most Popular Floating Market is located at Damnoen Saduak District.
It takes 1.5 hour from Bangkok.
I joined a bus tour which is organized by Panda Bus.

Before going to the Floating Market,
I went to Coconut Farm.
you can drink Coconut milk, not only in Coconut farm but also in Bangkok.


It's good taste.
I love Coconuts.

And I went to Floating Market at Damnoen Saduak District.
I got into the boat. It's like Cruise in Jungle.


You can eat some fruit such as Durian, Starfruit, Mangosteen and Rambutan.
I particularly like Mangosteen.
